What will this payment cost?

The rate is your estimate, not a live quote. Card issuer FX charges and other fees are excluded.

The fee rule

Small payments are generally free.

Below CNY 200: generally free.
Above CNY 200: may charge 3% of the full payment amount.
Exactly CNY 200: published wording differs; check in-app.

CNY 201 → estimated fee CNY 6.03 → estimated total CNY 207.03.

Published limits differ — check in-app. Shanghai guidance A lists up to USD 1,000 per transaction / USD 10,000 annually; guidance B lists up to USD 5,000 / USD 50,000. Published figures differ; check in-app. Publication dates are unconfirmed: URL dates do not establish which figures apply. Identity verification, risk controls and account-specific limits still apply. We have not verified your in-app terms.

Before you confirm a payment

This estimate applies to foreign cards linked to Alipay or Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay). Check the actual payment screen: exemptions and promotions may change the charge. At exactly CNY 200, guidance A says “under 200” while guidance B says “200 or less”; the sources differ at this boundary. The calculator models a zero fee at CNY 200 only as an estimate. At CNY 300, a possible 3% fee is calculated on all CNY 300. Estimates use round half up to two decimal places (fen) as a calculator convention, not a verified app rounding rule; the app’s displayed charge controls.

If a merchant offers separate legitimate purchases, each transaction is assessed separately. Do not assume a merchant allows split payments or use splitting to bypass account limits. Keep a backup payment method.
